With aggregate turnover of 78.7 million euros (30 September 2014: 75.4 million euros) and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation of property, plant and equipment and amortisation of intangible assets (EBITDA) of 4.9 million euros (30 September 2014: 10.0 million euros), the 2015 financial year has gone as expected so far in economic terms. It is not possible to compare the earnings to the same period in the previous year as considerable non-recurring effects from the disposal of the Banking segment had accrued in that year. As at the current balance sheet date, msg life generated consolidated earnings of 3.0 million euros (30 September 2014: 12.7 million euros) and thus earnings per share of 0.07 euros (30 September 2014: 0.31 euros). The cash flow from operating activities was 2.3 million euros, which demonstrates that the msg life Group is operating profitably. Equity as at 30 September 2015 totalled 43.8 million euros, which represents an increase of 3.6 million euros in comparison with the balance sheet date in 2014; as a result, the equity ratio was 57.0 per cent as at 30 September 2015. As at 30 September 2015, msg life employed a total of 866 members of staff (871 employees as at 30 September 2014). In the current 2015 financial year, the msg life Group expects turnover of approximately 105.0 million euros and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (operating EBITDA) of roughly 8.0 million euros.
