United Labels AG (ISIN: DE 0005489561, WKN: 548956) generated consolidated revenue of EUR22.3 million in the first nine months of 2015, a slight year-on-year increase of 1% (9M 2014: EUR22.1 million). Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) fell from EUR0.6 million a year ago to EUR0.2 million, as the prior-year earnings contribution made by Open Mark United Labels GmbH (EUR-0.6 million) no longer applied. In the third quarter revenue was up by 2.5%, rising from EUR7.9 million to EUR8.1 million. In view of business anticipated in the run-up to Christmas, with a particular emphasis on high-margin orders from specialty retailers in Germany and Spain, earnings are expected to improve markedly year on year in the subsequent months. The company will be looking to exploit further growth by pursuing expansion in its B2C business that includes existing airport shops and by extending the e-commerce activities of its subsidiary Elfen Service GmbH through the additional integration of the children's textiles range of United Labels.
