Heidelberg, 22 December 2015 - Effective 1 January 2016, SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner AG (ISIN DE0007203705) has acquired 51% of shares in Hartung Consult GmbH, Berlin, including its majority-owned subsidiary Hartung Informational Systems Co. Ltd., Shanghai. SNP AG intends to acquire the other 49% of Hartung Consult as at 1 January 2018. The purchase agreement was concluded today. SNP AG will use its available liquidity for the acquisition; neither additional equity nor debt capital is required. Hartung Consult provides consulting and support to globally oriented companies in introducing and harmonising cross-border IT processes in the SAP product and service field. The company, which has been operating for 27 years, currently employs more than 80 people worldwide, around 70 of whom are IT and software specialists with advanced SAP expertise. Hartung Consult generated total revenue of around EUR 6.6 million in the 2014 financial year. The SNP Group has also acquired a 51% interest in Astrums Consulting (S) Pte. Ltd., Singapore, effective 1 January 2016. SNP will acquire another 19% in Astrums Consulting as at 1 January 2018. The purchase agreement was concluded today. Astrums is a fast-growing consulting and service company in the field of products and services for various ERP systems. Its core competencies include implementation projects on an SAP basis including process analyses, design, implementation, maintenance and support. The company currently employs around 100 IT and software specialists in Singapore and in Kuala Lumpur. These specialists have an average of four years' SAP experience. In the 2014 financial year it generated total revenue of around EUR 4 million with an EBIT margin of 18%. Through these two strategic investments, the SNP Group is expanding its range of services for international customers and gaining deeper access to the rapidly growing Asian markets. Both Hartung Consult and Astrums have attractive customer lists and established networks of partners.
