By pursuing restructuring measures and consistently focusing on core fields of business associated with higher contribution margins, thereby actively forgoing low-margin contracts, United Labels AG (ISIN: DE 0005489561, WKN: 548956) managed to generate Group sales revenue of EUR32.0 million in the 2014 financial year (prev. year: EUR33.2 million). The Group's gross profit margin rose to 28.4% (prev. year: 23.2%). At EUR1.2 million, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) was substantially higher year on year (EUR-0.7 million). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) also improved significantly, up to EUR0.4 million (prev. year: EUR-1.4 million).
