Energiekontor AG has sold the Waldfeucht wind farm to the Hamburg-based CEE Group. The Waldfeucht wind farm is located in North Rhine-Westphalia west of Heinsberg not far from the border with the Netherlands. There, three Nordex wind turbines with a hub height of 125 m and a capacity of 4.5 MW each will generate an expected annual yield of around 35 million kilowatt hours. This amount of electricity is mathematically sufficient to cover the needs of more than 8,500 households.

Peter Szabo, CEO of Energiekontor AG, is satisfied: "The sales process of the Waldfeucht wind farm went according to plan and represents an important contribution to the 2019 annual result. With the CEE Group we have found an investor who shares our passion for renewable energies and with whom we can very well imagine a trusting cooperation also for future projects."

The purchase price was not disclosed. Debt financing was provided by DKB Deutsche Kreditbank AG, with whom Energiekontor and CEE have worked with on a number of transactions.
