Supervisory Board of SFC Energy AG prolongs Management Board contract of CEO Dr. Peter Podesser
Brunnthal Brunnthal/Munich, May 16, 2019 - At its meeting on 15 May, the Supervisory Board of SFC Energy AG (ISIN:DE0007568578) agreed unanimously to extend the contract of CEO Dr. Peter Podesser. The contract, which is currently scheduled to expire on 31 March 2020, will now be extended by four years until 31 March 2024.
"There was strong enthusiasm amongst the Supervisory Board for continuing to work with Dr. Podesser and unanimous support for the extension of his Executive Board contract. Not only in the good times, but also in the hard times, Dr. Podesser has kept a clear eye on the important issues and has always demonstrated his leadership qualities. He has been outstanding in his entrepreneurial and strategic approach to working and has balanced risk and return with a high level of professionalism. He, and his team, have transformed SFC Energy from a technology start up to an industry leader and the World's first profitable supplier of fuel cells. With the extension of his Management Board contract we have laid the foundation for a continuation of this success story. We look forward to continuing our cooperation ".
