This is an important contribution to the sustained financial flexibility of the company. The newly issued bond was very well received at the market. With an order book of EUR 2.7 billion, it was several times oversubscribed. The proceeds shall be used for general company purposes and are aimed to refinance the bond that matures in November 2018. The new bond with integral multiples of EUR 100,000 has a fixed coupon of 1.750 per cent and matures on 5 July 2025. The emission price is 99.628 per cent; a spread of 127 basis points above the 7 year Euro-midswap-rate. We expect trading of the bond at the regulated market of the Luxemburg stock exchange to start on 5 July 2018. The bond prospectus will be available on the website of Telefónica Deutschland.
