The entire project volume is in the high single-digit million euros. The new system is destined to deposit critical metal layers (thickness and uniformity) on a thin film product in the semiconductor industry. The vacuum deposition system of the type TIMARIS from SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES is equipped with various process and auxiliary modules and is used to apply very thin coatings onto a thin film product in a vacuum. It includes coating units that are equipped with several cathodes and work in an ultrahigh vacuum range of < 10-8 torr.
