Following preliminary estimates, an order entry of approximately EUR 79.8 million was achieved in the fourth quarter 2015 (previous year: EUR 44.0 million). This is the highest order entry in our company history. So far the highest order entry was EUR 70.4 million and was achieved in Q4 2000. This new record high, which is once again well above the previously published lower limit of our guidance of EUR 65 million, is due to the prolonged high demand for lithography solutions for advanced packaging applications and photomask equipment tools. This is especially remarkable because of the dull outlook for the semiconductor industry in the second half of 2015. At this point in time it is very difficult to make a reliable order entry forecast for the first quarter of 2016, because of the prevailing short term decisions of customers. We still assume that customers have pulled in orders from 2016 into 2015 and that due to the lowered market expectations the order activity will slow down considerably compared to Q4 2015. The order volume in Q1 2016 will be clearly below the level of the fourth quarter of 2015. The final key figures for the 2015 fiscal year - which may deviate from those given above - will be published on March 30, 2015.
