(DGAP-Media / 03.04.2014 / 13:21) Baader Bank AG expands product range through ETP joint venture Baader Bank and Ophirum Commodity GmbH have joined forces to create a new German ETP issuer: Ophirum ETP GmbH. The new issuer specialises in precious metal exchange-traded products (ETPs). Ophirum ETP GmbH will begin by launching four ETPs, in gold, silver, palladium and platinum, with exclusive custody in Germany. The ETPS are listed securities, allowing investors to benefit from transparency and the performance of the underlying assets, while the physical deposits offer a high level of security. The ETPs are very different in some aspects to existing products on the market. Baader Bank owns a 50% stake in Ophirum ETP GmbH. The managing directors are Christian Grabbe (Head of Services Market Making at Baader Bank) and Önder Ciftci (Managing Director, Ophirum Commodity GmbH).
