Work on the slitting line, which is already under construction, is going fully to plan, with completion still slated for next year. Construction of a supplementary cut-to-length line is scheduled to start in early 2017. The plant marking the biggest investment in Klöckner & Co's corporate history, totaling some EUR35 million, is expected to reach its full 80,000 ton-per- year aluminum processing capacity in 2018. The launch of the new business segment operating as Becker Aluminium Service GmbH sees the creation of up to 80 new jobs overall. "By 2020 at the latest, we aim to generate the lion's share of Group sales with higher value-added products and services.
