With decision by the Supervisory Board of 24 June 2016, the term of Thomas Radke (54) has been extended by three years until 31 December 2019. He will continue as CEO of Leifheit AG and will remain responsible for marketing, sales, research & development and human resources, as well as for the divisions Soehnle, Herby and Birambeau. Further, the Supervisory Board assigned a new head of Board Department Operations, appointing Ansgar Lengeling (50) to the Board of Management, effective not later than 1 January 2017. He will be responsible for purchasing, production, logistics and quality management and thus take over the Board Department Operations from Dr Claus-O. Zacharias (62). Until his planned retirement in 2017, Dr Claus-O. Zacharias will remain in charge of finance, controlling, IT and legal/audit in the Management Board. The appointment of Ansgar Lengeling is the result of a prudent planning process for succession of the Board Departments of Dr Claus-O. Zacharias. Previously, Ansgar Lengeling was responsible for production, logistics, purchasing and quality management at the power tools division in the Robert Bosch Home & Garden business unit. Further, he was in charge of its production plants in Hungary and England. Prior to this, he worked for many years as plant manager at Bosch Power Tools in China. Ansgar Lengeling holds a degree in mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Karlsruhe as well as an additional MBA.
