The Supervisory Board and the Management Board of Lloyd Fonds have decided to appoint Klaus M. Pinter general manager of the company. Pinter will be in charge of Lloyd Fonds AG's shipping activities with immediate effect and will be developing new business. In his capacity as general manager, Holger Schmitz will be responsible for finance and real estate. With the additions to its management, Lloyd Fonds AG is underscoring its goal of developing new products as an investment- and assetmanager with a long-standing track record in the market and of establishing these on a sustained basis. Accordingly, the company will be managed directly by CEO Dr. Torsten Teichert as well as Holger Schmitz and Klaus M. Pinter. "Over the last 12 months we have been developing many new projects and now have very strong projects in the pipeline. We will be reporting on our growth strategy as an investment- and assetmanager and specific projects in new structures at our annual general meeting in July," says Dr. Torsten Teichert, CEO of Lloyd Fonds AG. Appointment of two experienced asset specialists Klaus M. Pinter (41) held various management positions at Commerzbank between 2006 and 2015, where he recently established a very successful shipping asset platform in conjunction with Hanseatic Ship Asset Management GmbH (HSAM). As managing director, he oversaw a fleet of 18 container ships and bulkers. Between 2001 and 2007, Holger Schmitz (49) played a material role in Lloyd Fonds AG's establishment and market flotation, assuming the position of Chief Financial Officer in 2004. From 2010 to 2011, he was a board member at a company specializing in social housing, before returning to Lloyd Fonds in 2012 as a general manager.
