Achim Daub has been part of the Executive Board since 2006 and since then been in charge of the Scent & Care segment. With the early renewal of his contract, Symrise is ensuring continuity at the executive board level. He has held various management positions in the Scent & Care segment in Germany, France and the USA. Since 2006 he has been in charge of the segment worldwide. In recent years, he has successfully built the Company's global presence in fragrances and pushed its expansion into high-growth business areas such as cosmetic ingredients. In addition, he has energetically pursued strategic co-operations and acquisitions. One of the most recent ones has been US-based Pinova Holdings, Inc., with which Symrise is further expanding its access to renewable natural ingredients for perfume compositions.
