DGAP-News: EDAG Engineering Group AG / Key word(s): Preliminary Results EDAG Engineering Group AG: Preliminary annual results 2015 (news with additional features) 17.03.2016 / 08:48 The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Press Release EDAG: preliminary annual results 2015 Double- digit growth in sales and operating income in fiscal year 2015 (group) Arbon, 17 March 2016: Due to high demand for engineering services in 2015, EDAG - group managed, on the basis of preliminary figures, to increase sales significantly by 13.7% to 722 million Euro (previous year: 635 million Euro). All segments contributed to this increase, with EE (Electrics/Electronics) growing particularly strong. The company increased the preliminary operating income (EBIT adjusted for PPA and other special items) by 37% to 72.9 million Euro, again clearly higher than 2014 (53.2 million Euro). The operative margin amounted to approximately 10% and is higher than during the previous year (8.4%). The preliminary net income of 36.3 million Euro was lower than in 2014 (59.9 million Euro), because 2014 was considerably influenced by proceeds from sales of property and businesses. The board of directors plans to recommend a dividend payment of 0.75 Euro per share at the general shareholder meeting on May 31, 2016. The current order situation in the Engineering Service Provider - market (ESP) indicates a further growing sales volume. At the beginning of the year 2016, demand for ESP was still cautious, so that the company expects an increase in sales in a range of 7- 10%, similar to market expectations of the competition. In spite of intensified competition, the company still expects a moderate growth of the adjusted EBIT for the year 2016 in comparison to 2015. The final numbers and the annual report of the company and the group for the fiscal year 2015 will be published in a press conference on 20 April, 2015.
