Productivity enhancement measures introduced over the recent years resulted in a substantial rise in revenue and profit. Total revenue increased by 6.3% to 155.9 million euros (previous year: 146.7 million euros), with the Systems segment participating at 1.7% and the Displays segment at 9.8%. New orders came to 160.3 million euros, remaining on about the same level as last year's 159.0 million euros. Order backlog increased by 10% to 98.5 million euros. We continued to grow our presence in foreign markets in fiscal year 2014, increasing our export rate to 40.0% (previous year: 39.8%). Our chief activities in 2014 included expansion of our global sales network, further consolidation of our product portfolio and continuing optimization of our operating processes. Another focus was the centralization of our logistics and manufacturing capacity at the Weikersheim location. In 2014, our research and development expenses increased to over 5.3 million euros.
