In fiscal year 2014 the Amadeus FiRe group achieved consolidated sales of EUR 161.1m (prior year EUR 142.1m), an increase of 13.4%. Sales improved in all services (temporary staffing, permanent placement, interim and project management, training). In 2014 the gross profit amounted to EUR 67.8m (prior year EUR 60.0m). Therewith gross profit grew by EUR 7.8m or 12.9%. The gross profit margin of 42.1% was slightly below prior year's 42.3% (-0.2 percentage points). The number of chargeable days was unchanged compared to 2013. The selling and administrative expenses were EUR 41.1m after EUR 36.8m in prior year. Mainly the increase of EUR 4.3m derived from personnel expenditures in operations, compensation of the management board and intensified marketing activities. The earnings before interest, tax and goodwill amortisation (EBITA) came in at a new record result of EUR 26.8m. EBITA increased by EUR 3.5m (+15.1%). The EBITA margin of 16.6% exceeded previous year's level of 16.4% by 0.2 percentage points. Based on the current macroeconomic projections, a not deteriorating level of demand and a stable legal and regulatory environment the management board expects a moderate growth of sales in 2015. However planned expenditures in 2015 in order to achieve a further development of business operations should lead to a slight decrease of EBITA for fiscal year 2015. Strengthening business operations is the precondition to achieve management boards mid term targets. It is targeted to reach sales revenues of EUR 200m and an EBITA of EUR 30m within the next three to five years. The final figures for the fiscal year 2014 will be announced during a press conference / DVFA event on 18 March 2015.
