VERIANOS adjusts corridor for the 2019 group annual result
Cologne/Frankfurt am Main, 15 July 2020 - The Management Board of VERIANOS Real Estate Aktiengesellschaft has reduced the corridor for the 2019 group annual result to EUR -0.7 million to EUR -0.9 million. Previously, a result in the range of EUR 0.8 million to EUR 1.2 million was expected. This is due to delays in the settlement of individual transactions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to a change in the assessment of the valuation of specific assets in the 2019 financial statements and thus to a shift in the corresponding income.
The audits have largely been completed and the company, in consultation with the auditor, now plans to publish the annual accounts by 27 July 2020 at the latest. The reason for the delay is the more comprehensive coordination with the auditor on the business effects of the COVID-19 crisis.
For the 2020 financial year, the company expects to achieve a positive annual result again, subject to any effects of the COVID-19 pandemic that cannot yet be foreseen today.
