STS Group AG holds Annual General Meeting virtually for the first time: Supervisory Board newly elected

Hallbergmoos/Munich, 15 July 2020. STS Group (ISIN: DE000A1TNU68), a global system supplier for the automotive and commercial vehicle industry, listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, on 14 July 2020 held its Annual General Meeting virtually for the first time due to the corona pandemic.

With 68.05 % of the share capital represented in the vote, the resolutions proposed by the Management were mostly adopted with large majorities.

Wolf Cornelius and Dr. jur. Wolfgang Lichtenwalder were elected as new members of the Supervisory Board. Bernd Maierhofer continues to be a member of the committee, which consists of three members and to whose chairman Dr. Cornelius was elected.

In his speech, Mathieu Purrey, sole member of the Management Board in office since 3 July 2020, provided an overview of business development in the past financial year 2019 and emphasized: "As a member of the Executive Board of STS Group, I am well aware of the challenging environment in which we are operating as an automotive and commercial vehicle supplier during the Corona Pandemic. At the same time, I am convinced of the future viability of STS products. In the coming weeks and months, we will intensify the extensive restructuring and cost-cutting measures that have been initiated and, if necessary, tighten them up.

The employment contract with Andreas Becker, sole member of the Management Board until 30 June 2020, was terminated by mutual agreement. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board thanked all the members of the Management Board who left during the course of the year for their commitment in the past years.

The Company will report on the results of the first half of 2020 with the publication of the half-year figures on 6 August 2020.
