AURELIUS Equity Opportunities SE & Co KGaA: Press release on the virtual annual general meeting 2020

- Annual general meeting held virtually for the first time

- All proposed resolutions of the management approved by large majorities

- Executive Board sees attractive opportunities for the strategic expansion of the Group's portfolio

Munich, June 18, 2020 - At the annual general meeting of AURELIUS Equity Opportunities SE & Co. KGaA (ISIN: DE000A0JK2A8), which was held virtually on today's date for the first time, all proposed resolutions of the management were approved by large majorities of the shareholders represented at the meeting (representing 18.32 % of share capital).

As one of the regularly appearing agenda items, KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft was re-elected as the Group's independent auditor. The term of office of the Shareholders Committee ended at the close of today's annual general meeting. As proposed by the management, the meeting elected Dirk Roesing, Maren Schulze and Dr. Thomas Hoch as new members of the Shareholders Committee.

In view of the ongoing coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis and the related uncertainties, a precise forecast of the Group's performance in the further course of 2020 has still not yet been offered. While the operating results of some Group companies will be adversely affected by the crisis, the AURELIUS Executive Board believes that the current market environment presents attractive opportunities for the strategic expansion of the Group's portfolio.
