secunet Security Networks AG: Increase of the forecast for the 2020 financial year

[Essen / Germany, 17 June 2020] The Management Board of secunet Security Networks AG (ISIN DE0007276503, WKN 727650) is increasing its forecast for the 2020 financial year.

The forecast had previously (as of publication of the 2019 annual results on 30 March 2020) envisaged sales revenues and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) slightly below the previous year's level (2019 financial year: sales revenues 226.9 million euros, EBIT 33.2 million euros). On the basis of the preliminary figures for the period January to May 2020 and the continuing very high order book, the Managemend Board is now raising its outlook for the current 2020 financial year to sales revenues of around 270 million euros and EBIT of around 48 million euros. The high order book is mainly due to orders from public sector customers due to the pent-up demand for mobile workstations as a result of the corona crisis. The forecast is subject to the further development of the corona epidemic and the ability to deliver the corresponding orders.
