Wacker Neuson SE: Executive Board and Supervisory Board propose suspension of the dividend payment; virtual Annual General Meeting planned for June 30, 2020

Munich, April 23, 2020 - The Executive Board and the Supervisory Board of the Wacker Neuson SE, Munich, have decided today to propose a modified resolution on the appropriation of net profit for fiscal 2019 to the Annual General Meeting. In light of the unforeseeable consequences of the covid-19 pandemic and the withdrawal of the guidance for fiscal 2020, it will now be proposed to suspend the dividend payment for fiscal 2019 and to carry forward net profit onto new account. This measure is intended to additionally strengthen financial stability and further secure the liquidity of the Group. The previous proposal foresaw a dividend payout of EUR 0.60 per share.

In response to the ongoing restrictions as a result of the covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided to hold this year's Annual General Meeting completely virtually. The date has been set to June 30, 2020. Previously, the company planned to hold its Annual General Meeting with physical attendance on July 21, 2020.
