CAPTRACE receives a seven-digit Euro investment from FinLab EOS VC Fund. The company provides solutions for all matters in the areas of equity management and investor disclosure. Funds from the investment will be used for further developing the company's software and to scale its business with the utilization of blockchain technology.

Wiesbaden/Frankfurt, Germany, January 21^th, 2020 - CAPTRACE GmbH, a leading equity management platform, has raised a seven-digit Euro financing from FinLab EOS VC Fund, a venture capital fund backed by both Block.one, the publisher of the blockchain protocol EOSIO, and FinLab AG, one of the first and largest investors focused on the Financial Services Technologies ("FinTech") and blockchain sector in Europe. The FinLab EOS VC Fund invests across sectors and focuses on projects delivering value through the application of the EOSIO blockchain technology.

CAPTRACE is the first registrar in Europe to offer the custody of company shares secured by third-generation distributed ledger technology (DLT). Alongside its custody solution, the company offers a broad range of features in the form of a one-stop solution for all matters in the area of equity management. These features will ultimately include the management of employee participation programs, capitalization tables and fundraising rounds. Moreover, the company expects strong demand for its services related to the forthcoming disclosure regulations in Germany and Europe (Shareholder Rights Directive - SRD II).
