PANTALEON Films production RESISTANCE enters US cinemas
- For the first time, a PANTALEON Films production is released in the USA
- Sale of US rights to IFC Films
- US release planned for 2020
Munich, November 12, 2019. PANTALEON Films, the wholly-owned film production subsidiary of PANTAFLIX AG (GSIN: A12UPJ, ISIN: DE000A12UPJ7), announces the sale of exploitation rights of the RESISTANCE production to IFC Films for the US market. The US distributor is thus bringing the first international PANTALEON Films production to US cinemas in 2020. Alongside Hollywood actors Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) and Ed Harris (Westworld, The Truman Show), Clémence Poésy (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), Matthias Schweighöfer (100 Things) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) take on further roles.
RESISTANCE was produced by PANTALEON Films GmbH in collaboration with Epicentral Studios, Rocket Science, Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany, Vertical Media, Neptune Features, Riverstone, Ingenious Media and Bliss Media. Resistance Film US acted as co-producer.
