sporttotal and Samsung start partnership at IFA

- As from now, sporttotal is available in the Samsung Sportworld

Cologne, September 10, 2019. sporttotal, one of Germany's largest multi-sport streaming platforms and a wholly owned subsidiary of SPORTTOTAL AG, is available as from now, pre-installed in the Samsung Sportworld and therefore on all Samsung Smart TVs. The start to the new Samsung Sportworld to which sporttotal now also belongs was announced by both companies at the leading trade fair for Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances (IFA) in Berlin.

Samsung Sportworld gives sport fans an overview

Along with amateur football, other kinds of sports, such as volleyball, basketball, ice hockey, field hockey, American football and futsal, are broadcast in the Samsung Sportworld with sporttotal. In addition, fans are given an overview of the versatile offering from linear television, as well as from live streaming providers such as Sky Ticket, DAZN and the Goalplay app by Oliver Kahn. Thanks to the new Electronic Program Guide (EPG), spectators do not have to look far to find out which game is currently being played and where. Samsung has therefore created an easily accessible Smart TV experience for sport fans with a single app. The Sportworld can be easily started via the Smart Hub of 2019 generation Samsung TV. The app will also be available to owners of older models from 2015 onward via an update.

Along with the launch of the partnership, amateur clubs were able to match themselves one to one against a Robokeeper. The victor was the pleased winner of a sporttotal camera system, a Samsung QLED 4K TV for the clubhouse, as well as the latest Goalplay goalkeeper gloves presented by "Titan" Oliver Kahn himself. In future, the fans of the winning team Berlin United will be able to marvel at their club in the Samsung Sportworld.
