Garbsen, 9 September 2019 - LPKF Laser & Electronics AG has raised its revenue and profit forecast for the 2019 financial year.

For the 2019 financial year, the Management Board anticipates a slight increase in consolidated revenue of between EUR 135 million and EUR 140 million (previously: EUR 130 million and EUR 135 million) and an increased EBIT margin of between 12% and 14% (previously: 8% and 12%), with the global economy remaining stable. This corresponds to a ROCE of between 20% and 25% (previously: between 10% and 15%). Based on the current order situation, LPKF expects revenue of between EUR 28 million and EUR 33 million and an EBIT margin of between 8% and 12% for the third quarter of 2019.

The Management Board, newly appointed in 2018, has initiated numerous strategic and operational measures to achieve sustainable profitable growth. The improvement of the expected revenue and earnings figures reflects the successful implementation of these measures.

In subsequent years, LPKF intends to further increase profitability and generate an EBIT margin of more than 14% (previously: 12%).
