STS Group AG gains by a license agreement access to new solutions to expand its product range for innovative lightweight solutions

Hallbergmoos/Munich, June 3, 2019. Weight reduction is a crucial element for the success of a vehicle. STS Group AG (ISIN: DE000A1TNU68; www.sts.group), the global system supplier for the commercial vehicle and automotive industry, listed in the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, is further expanding its portfolio of innovative lightweight solutions. To this end, STS Group AG has reached an agreement with AMA Composites.

With LWRT (Leight Weight Reinforced Thermoplastic) technology, STS can now offer even more innovative, and lightweight components for all types of vehicles and further increases its competence in fibre composite materials. With the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic technology LWRT, weight reductions of 30 to 50% compared to aluminum or steel are feasible.
