CONSUS Real Estate AG: Theo Gorens joins Management Board

Supervisory Board appoints Theo Gorens to the Management Board of CONSUS Real Estate as per 1 May 2019

Berlin, 23 April 2019 - The Supervisory Board of CONSUS Real Estate AG ("Consus", ISIN DE000A2DA414, CC1) has appointed Theodorus Simon Gorens (51) as an additional member of the Management Board of Consus with effect from 1 May 2019. Theo Gorens will take up the responsibilities of the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) as well as the Deputy-CFO. The Consus Management Board will thus consist of the three members Andreas Steyer (CEO), Benjamin Lee (CFO) and Theo Gorens (CRO and Deputy-CFO).

Since 2012, Theo Gorens has been a member of the Executive Board at Consus' subsidiary SSN Group AG where he is responsible for risk management, financing and business development. Theo Gorens is also a member of the Extended Management Board of Consus AG since the end of 2018. Prior to joining the Executive Board of SSN Group AG, Theo Gorens was active in several management positions at Fortis ABN AMRO Group where he was, among other responsibilities, CFO of Fortis ABN AMRO Germany. Thereafter he was appointed as member of the Extended Board of Directors at Bethmann Bank AG and, amongst other things, responsible for structured products and directly reporting to the Executive Board of ABN AMRO. Theo Gorens started his career at KPMG in Amsterdam and Frankfurt, where he was, among other things, the auditor and advisor for German banks.
