The group's sales increased in fiscal year 2013 by 16% to EUR 65.1 million (previous year: EUR 55.9 million). Incoming orders increased by 13% to EUR 68.6 million (previous year: EUR 60.6 million). The gross profit margin amounted to 49.9% (previous year: 48.1%). The earnings before taxes increased by 39% to EUR 7.8 million (previous year: EUR 5.6 million). The pre-tax margin increased to 12% (previous year: 10%). With these results the company's forecast communicated to the capital market has been achieved at the upper end. The cash flow from operations remained stable with EUR 12.1 million (previous year: EUR 12.6 million; -4%). The free cash flow calculated as the sum of cash flows from operations and cash flow for investments reached a value of EUR 5.6 million (previous year: EUR 6.3 million, -11%). These results are by far the best to date in the history of Basler AG. These provisional figures are awaiting final approval by the auditors and the supervisory board. The definitive figures for fiscal year 2013, the annual report for 2013, and the forecast for fiscal year 2014 will be released on March 27, 2014.
