Mr. Christian Schmitz, member of the Supervisory Board of KAP Beteiligungs-AG and managing director of The Carlyle Group, was today elected as new chairman of the Supervisory Board. The Supervisory Board has in today's meeting also resolved to propose to the shareholders meeting that the number of supervisory board members is reduced from six to five. It is thus not intended to hold an election for a replacement supervisory board member.
