Dr. Johannes Schmidt, Member of the INDUS Board since 2006, is designated to succeed him in the role of Chairman of the Board. Helmut Späth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the INDUS Group, commented: "The Supervisory Board greatly regrets that Jürgen Abromeit has rejected our offer to extend his contract for a further five years. We accept his decision and expressly thank him for the extremely successful and trusting cooperation." For INDUS as a company, 2017 is the fifth record-breaking year in a row in terms of sales and earnings. "It is a perfect time to hand over the baton after ten wonderful, busy years on the INDUS board - of which six as Chairman - and to start something completely new in 2019," explained Jürgen Abromeit.
