Georg Schuettken undertakes the role of establishing and expanding the Corporate Finance Team of Baader Bank and is also directly responsible for the real estate, infrastructure, transport & logistics sectors as well as public-sector clients. Mr Schuettken has held leading roles at international firms as well as in a self-employed capacity. In a previously held position, he was a Managing Director and Head of the "Public Sector" for Germany and Austria at Barclays in Frankfurt and London, with responsibility for various corporate finance and M&A transactions. Georg Schuettken holds a degree in Business Studies from the University of Cologne. Sebastian Holl is responsible for the newly created role of Head of Corporate Brokerage. His area of responsibility includes closely supporting and consulting with listed companies in their ongoing capital markets activities. Mr Holl began his career in Equity Sales Trading at international investment banks and was recently the Senior Relationship Manager and Head of Sales Trading at Oddo Seydler in Frankfurt. Maria Mai is strengthening the Capital Markets Execution Team in the execution of equity and debt capital transactions. The lawyer in capital markets law, who was most recently employed in the law firm Linklaters in Frankfurt am Main, has extensive experience in equity and debt capital markets transactions including hybrid bonds, convertible and exchangeable bonds and insurance hybrids. With the reinforcement in personnel and the newly created roles, Baader Bank is further developing its service spectrum both in consulting as well as capital procurement. The establishment of the sector-based Corporate Finance Team is founded on sound advice in corporate decisions in matters of strategic financing and M&A. With the creation of an independent Corporate Brokerage Team, the bank supports companies with their ongoing access to investors, brought about, not least, by the introduction of the MiFID II. As a result, Baader Bank is further developing its service package of designated sponsoring, equity research and investor access. The strengthening of the Capital Markets Execution Team with an experienced lawyer also takes into consideration the increased significance of regulations in capital markets.
