Following the successful conclusion of a capital increase amounting to 10% of the share capital, DATAGROUP SE (WKN A0JC8S) has set its course for further growth. The inflow of proceeds from the issue of 759,000 new shares filled the coffers of the IT service provider with some EUR 21.7m. Hauck & Aufhäuser and M.M.Warburg acted as joint bookrunners of the capital increase. The proceeds of the issue will strengthen the equity and thus provides the basis for further strong growth. The successful takeover of 306 IT specialists from Hewlett-Packard Enterprise in September last year and the issue of a promissory note loan to secure low interest rates had extended the balance sheet by 55% at the end of the last fiscal year. Despite the operating business' very good and high-margin development the equity ratio has dropped to below 20% because of this. In the first six months of the fiscal year, the Cloud and outsourcing provider has acquired nine major customers for its full-service portfolio CORBOX, including the German Aerospace Center (DLR). The BWIS include both the SAP landscape and special as well as individual applications. As part of the application management, DATAGROUP will also assume a wide range of tasks in the development and enhancement of these applications.
