The Belarusian Racing Team uses the V- Profile clamps made of stainless steel in the exhaust systems of its race trucks that took part in the 2016 Dakar Rally in Argentina in the Trucks category. The MAZ-Sport Auto Team's two race trucks are based on the Belarusian commercial vehicle manufacturer's series truck model MAZ-5309. The trucks were equipped with output of about 800 hp for the 2016 Dakar Rally, an improved brake system, a central tire inflation control system and all- wheel drive. The Belarusian team took part in the Dakar Rally already for the fifth time. The V-Profile clamp is designed for space-saving installation in exhaust and cooling systems as well as turbochargers, for example. The V-Profile clamp has an integrated retaining clip which allows to prefix the clamp during assembly. This significantly shortens the installation time.
