The merger is retroactive to January 1, 2016. SecureIntegration was formerly a USU subsidiary SecurIntegration based in Cologne. Aspera GmbH, also a company of the USU Group, is based in Aachen. The legal merger by way of entry in the commercial register is the logical culmination of the 2015 operational convergence between the companies. SecurIntegration GmbH, part of the USU Group since 2015, will continue uninterrupted at an operational level, retaining its employees in Cologne as the "SAP business unit". Guido Schneider, renowned SAP license expert, will continue to serve as Managing Director of SecurIntegration, and lead the SAP business unit. Aspera and SecurIntregration have been technically integrated for several years. By combining entities, global customers have access to a world-class solution portfolio from a single source, covering all facets of strategic software license management. This merger meets the growing market demand for SAP license optimization, and enhances the existing partnership.
