KGaA: Dräger plans headcount reduction With the publication of the financial results for the first nine months, Dräger already announced that it will intensify its "Fit for Growth" efficiency program. In this context, the board of the Drägerwerk Verwaltungs AG decided today to reduce headcount. The number of jobs at Dräger's headquarters in Lübeck will be reduced by approximately 200 by the end of 2016. Excluded from these headcount reductions are employees in direct production and logistics. The necessary restructuring costs are expected to amount to a low double digit million Euro figure which will probably be accrued for in 2015. The headcount reductions will be conducted in coordination with the responsible works council and the IG-Metall and are to be achieved in a socially acceptable manner as far as possible. Consultations in this regard will begin shortly. Further details of the efficiency measures, which may include personnel measures in the regions, will be announced with the publication of the final financial results for the fiscal year 2015 on March 9, 2016.
