He has been appointed for five years by the Supervisory Board of W&W AG. According to current planning, Junker will take the role of the CEO of the W&W Executive Board in 2017 after a familiarization and transitional phase, whereas Dr. Alexander Erdland will resign from this post at the same time. By taking this step, W&W plans to set the course for generational change at the head of the group in due time.
