The apartments have a total residential area of 22,186 square metres and a combined annual net rent of 1.5 million euros. "With the acquisition, we continue to pursue our growth strategy in the field of housing privatisations. The new apartments are situated in central locations, and particularly well suited for private investors and owner-occupiers," explained Jacopo Mingazzini, CEO of ACCENTRO Real Estate AG. Ongoing Expansion As recently as May 2015, ACCENTRO acquired 364 flats in Berlin for its privatisation arm. "Homeownership is an important capital-building instrument and retirement scheme in a persistently low interest rate environment. Both for tenants and for buy-to-let investors, the time is right for entering the condominium market," said Mingazzini. He went on to say that Berlin remains one of the most attractive investment destinations anywhere in Germany. "The parameters are extremely auspicious in the German capital. In addition to the very favourable demographics, the city's macro-economy presents a bright picture. There is steady job growth.
