The total number of individual and group discussions came to well over 1,000, with investors looking to engage in intensive dialogue with representatives of German and Austrian companies. In spite of the ongoing geopolitical tensions, the unresolved sovereign debt crisis and the sanctions against Russia, which in some cases are having a direct effect on business, the majority of companies were optimistic for the future. Companies currently involved in acquisitions and capital market activities attracted particular attention. The conference was attended by delegates from a total of 25 countries, with 125 companies present. Thanks to Baader Bank's integration of the Swiss brokerage Helvea, we were able to attract a considerably higher number of international investors to the conference than in previous years. This meant that the conference was an even greater success than the two previous events.
