Due to unexpected positive incoming orders - particularly from the Asian market - the business performance is better than planned. Therefore, the management board of Basler AG is increasing today the sales forecast for fiscal year 2014 from Euro 70 - 74 million to Euro 73 - 76 million. Furthermore, positive margin effects due to a favorable product mix as well as economies of scale for fixed costs lead to an above plan pre-tax result. This prompts the management board to also increase the profit forecast for fiscal year 2014. Since a significant cooling in the second half of fiscal year 2014 is not expected, the company henceforth expects a pre-tax return margin of 12 - 14 % (formerly 8 - 10 %).
