By summer 2014 a cutting-edge building complex with a floor area of 14,500 m² and excellent transport links will be erected at Staphorst, in the Netherlands, not far from the present location. For optimum efficiency the new structure, which is remarkable for both its low-energy concept and its architectural design, will accommodate all corporate functions. The new arrangement offers considerable potential for optimisation compared with the previous location, which was spread among three different buildings. Meanwhile the workforce of around 200 employees will enjoy a contemporary, healthy working environment thanks to the use of heating, cooling and ventilation solutions that are made by Brink and sold successfully throughout Europe, as well as systems made by other group companies. The entire new building will moreover enable Brink to give its customers an illuminating insight into what scope there currently is for comfort and energy efficiency in buildings, while providing an engaging demonstration of what its corporate philosophy is all about. The investment of approx. EUR 10 million is notable in the present difficult economic situation specifically in the Netherlands. However, on the back of approx. 50 % revenue growth in recent years the new building and the significant increase in capacity that it brings provides Brink with a basis to maintain its success in the internationally rapidly growing market for central and non-central ventilation solutions, strengthen its position as European market leader and therefore realise further growth. The company's focus is paticularly on the rapidly growing market for ventilation solutions, which are expected to enjoy double-digit growth in future. The new Brink building going by the name of 'Air Experience Center' offers the ideal basis for realising these growth prospects and also sends out a clear message about the future of the Dutch location. Its eyecatching architecture and prominent location directly on the A28 - one of the most important north-south routes in the Netherlands - will moreover make it an important vehicle for advertising the company.
